Sony Is Getting New XMB For PS Vita?

The new activity based UI pictures from Sony show a completely new interface with a few of the old characteristics missing. However, the most important of them is the XMB, a facility that was replaced with the activity based UI, and people testing it said it is a major improvement for Sony's products - the PS Vita and PS3.


It is still uncertain when this new interface will be introduced. While the specialists expect it to be a part of the new PS3 update that will be released soon, other people say that this facility will be introduced along with the Vita portable device.

The XMB was a useful facility that was liked by the users of Sony's devices, including TV’s and DVD players. However, it seems like the new characteristic replacing the XMB is designed mostly to suit the needs of the console users. We can hardly wait for the activity based UI to be released.
