PlayStation Vita Release Date For United States and Europe Confirmed

Sony has confirmed a
release date for PlayStation Vita in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia and Latin America. That important day is February 22nd, 2012. We know that Japan is getting the PlayStation Vita this December, but we won’t have to wait too long for the North America and European versions. People that are importing this device from Japan should think about waiting for the English versions instead of pre-ordering.
PS Vita will be available in two different models.
- The Wifi model will be priced affordably at $250 in U.S. or 250 Euros in Europe.
- The 3G/Wifi model will be priced affordably at $300 in U.S. or 300 Euros in Europe.
Sony haven’t announced what games will be available at the time of launch yet, but there are more than 100 games currently in development globally. Some of those are FIFA, Call of Duty, Sound Shapes, Resistance: Burning Skies, Uncharted Golden Abyss, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Assassin’s Creed and more.
