Q. What prompted the team to create this game for this platform?

A. FINAL FANTASY TACTICS has so many enthusiastic fans despite being released more than 10 years ago. I saw a lot of comments by fans on Facebook and Twitter that they longed for its release on iPhone. I was very encouraged to make this game available on this new platform and I didn’t want to disappoint the fans.

Q. How does the iPhone version of FINAL FANTASY TACTICS: The War of the Lions differ from the original PlayStation version released back in 1997?

A. We customized the playability for iPhone. Even though I always thought that the touch screen was a better fit for Simulation RPGs over a controller, I was concerned by the screen size of iPhone since it looks too small to play the game comfortably. However, we learned so much about utilizing the small screen size of iPhone developing Song Summoner, and I can confidently present FINAL FANTASY TACTICS for iPhone as the “FINAL FANTASY TACTICS with the most comfortable playability.“

Q. Now onto the final question – what games are you into lately?

A. It is not a recent title, but I was very impressed by “Street Fighter IV”. The quality of the graphics is the best it can be for iPhone and the playability was also very good and thoughtfully adjusted. It made me realize the direction that every video game developer should go in developing iPhone games. Honestly though, the price of the game seemed a little too cheap for the quality of the game!
