I take no credit for this photo.

I've been pondering about this for a while now. Most of the games for Vita will be priced at $40. So why am I spending $10 more for a game that's not even made by Naughty Dog and doesn't even run at 60fps? Plus, on top of that Uncharted 3 is going for $40 new on Amazon! Why would Sony do this? A lot of us has already looked over the reviews and watched the ending, its just not worth it tbh. Can someone please shed some light on this issue?

Well, of course a movie like Uncharted won't feel worth it if you've already seen the ending. It's not like the gameplay is anything special, so once you've seen the story, there's no reason to go back and play it again.

I'm playing through the Uncharted series now and Golden Abyss really doesn't look too appealing. I haven't even watched any of the cutscenes for it yet either.

Quick question: is ANY game worth $50? IMO, no. Absolutely not. $35 is more like it.

But that may just be my media hubris.

$50 for a Console game? Yes worth it. (Really depends on the type of game though).

$50 for a portable game? No. No no no. Way too much IMO.

Again these are just generalizations. There are certain exceptions and also it really depends on how good the game is, well known the series is or publisher etc.
