If you can get past the clumsy, oh-so-Square Enix name, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy looks like it might be one of the better role-playing game prospects for the Nintendo 3DS. It has the handsome aesthetic of Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light, the grandiose RPG set up the developer is known for, plus a few potentially exciting technical tricks up its sleeve.
Bravely Default: Flying Fairy will use the 3DS's cameras for augmented reality gameplay, which Japanese gamers will be able to sample this spring, according to yesterday's Nintendo Direct livestream. The latest trailer for Bravely Default is light on gameplay, heavy on Japanese and another chance to see what's in store for the 2012 game.
