PS3 4.21 (Jailbreak/Downgrade)

okay i've molested the internet for about a week now and i've seen a bunch of stuff. but either the links i'm given are password protected or the comments are all negative and make me look elsewhere.
i've seen people on 4.21 and jailbroken, and then 10seconds later see a forum post saying it's impossible. i've also learned that my 250GB slim ps3 is able to be downgraded to 3.55 ( this is supposedly the only true custom firmware)

so does anyone have any advice? links to tutorials? or what your running. i really need some help.

i also don't know what "PKG's" are but i do know that you need a certain one to run backups and that some CFW's don't come with them....?? i think >_<

I have made a discovery. To you need a downgrader then you run the downgrader/update from the ps3's recovery menu. it's boots and pow your done. i just need someone to GIVE ME THE FILES :D dangit.
if your on 3.55 you can just spoof 4.21.....but i gotta get to 3.55 first >_<

Yeah... That's bullshit.

There is no jailbreak or CFW for anything above 3.55.

However, there is a downgrade method, but it involves opening your PS3. And it's more of a dual boot than anything. It lets you load 3.55 CFW and 4.x OFW.
