After a short two weeks of existence, our last time baby has already been many imitators since the new official 5.50 are more than friendly.
It must be recognized that if our first version was running perfectly, we did not realize how much you were attached to the "plus" offered by our Custom Firmware in general (Pandorisation option, VSH in recovery, according to the extinction of console, and more...). It is true that all these little treats are still very practical and we have remedied this by adding in the 5.50GEN-b. Sony blocks ANY Firmware under 5.51 from going into Playstation Store

A big maintenance Playstation Store has caused the blockage of access to
the Playstation Store for owners of firmware 5.00 M33-A and 5.02GEN.
Fortunately, the Custom Firmware 5.50GEN is safe.
Sony has today made a big maintenance Playstation Store, which prohibits
access to M33 Custom Firmwares. Is this a coincidence or is it still a
"security update", which is only to try to prevent access to the owners of
Custom Firmware?
5.00 M33-6: It’s true. You are now prompted with, “A system software update for the PSP system is required. For update methods, refer to the instructions for the PSP system.” And even with spoofing your version using the version.txt method and you’re still denied access.
5.50 GEN-A: Still working.
Good thing that we know Custom Firmware 5.50 GEN-A still able to access the Playstation Store without any problems. On the other hand, Custom Firmware 5.50GEN-A and M33 are denied to access the Playstation Store.
After 12 years, Sony’s Net Yaroze program has come to an end in July, which made console development available to aspiring non-professionals.
Yaroze, started in March 1997, the PlayStation project was designed with the goal of making modern console development accessible to non-professionals. Through this service, subscribers received access to an online community, development software, as well as a very rare black PlayStation One console that allowed develops to run their own code on the system.
For many, it offered a unique opportunity to learn about developing for the most popular console at the time – indeed, many of the original members used their experiences with the service as a stepping stone to entering the industry.
But all is not lost. "We plan to make a copy of the site available for our original members," said SCEE's Paul Holman, adding that a get-together of sorts will be held for the development community.
